Hear Me ROAR!!

As you start a new year, you usually come in with a ROAR! A list of goals, action items, such as: eat healthier, exercise more, meditate more, save money, travel, try a new class, start painting/sculpting, etc.…and the list goes on and on.

Thinking about these things, starts to raise your blood pressure causing stress and the year has only just begun.

Imagine what your animal companions are feeling. They were ready to stroll into the new year with you after the chaotic energy of the holidays, and now after all the “franticness” of your energy, they are ready to hid under the bed!

This is where your need to take a few notes from your animal friends.

What do they do? They play. They run around having fun. They give only unconditional love. They are present in the moment. And they rest.

Let’s every morning take a few minutes to breathe, sit in the stillness, and allow your mind/body/soul to relax and be calm. When you are clam, you have more clarity. With more clarity, you are more productive as your perspective changes of your priorities for the day thus allowing for a clear path of what you want to achieve.

So when your animal companion starts running around you, they are giving you a reminder to take a moment to breathe. They know exactly what you need - A “Time-Out” from your mind and a little more love for them and yourself.
